Career Opportunities

Environmental Sciences majors have gone on to pursue wide ranging careers, from academic research positions to documentary film making. Environmental Sciences can be the foundation for graduate study in the life sciences, earth sciences, and environmental engineering. Many students are now employed with environmental consulting firms and governmental agencies. Peace Corps volunteers, environmental activists, and environmental educators also have found a home in the Environmental Sciences major. The program has an excellent track record of preparing students for law, business, and medical school.
