I am passionate about the climate crisis, but my interests will always lie with humanity. I have learned the value of connection and community from my experiences working as an educator, and this has influenced my professional interests. Education gives access to a deeper and wider appreciation for the world. It connects. I was born between the ocean and the mountains on the California coast, and this personal connection first sparked my interest in understanding the environment.
